I’m an investigative reporter based in California. I currently work for Bloomberg News. Before that, worked for BuzzFeed News and the Center for Investigative Reporting, a nonprofit newsroom.
I've written about a wide array of topics from global health to private equity to police misconduct. This work has received some of the highest awards in journalism, including winning a George Polk Award for health reporting and being honored as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize.
I’ve also taught journalism classes at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and The New School in New York.
